Which one should I have?

Both formats are equally as good as each other, as far as recording quality and storage capacity are concerned. In addition, the vast majority of DVD players on the market will accept both formats. However, if you do have any concerns about the format you require, you will need to check the specification of the DVD player on which the DVD is intended to be played on.
